Everyone loves to eat.
Unless you are resilient against food binging, holidays will suck you into an eating frenzy, one that you might pay for with your health.
Bloodworth's hypothesis doesn't mention food, however, it's a given conclusion that food quality plays a role in one's general well-being.
Not only does food quality play a vital role in physical health, but consumption frequency is another important piece of the health puzzle. What we eat and how often we eat it is essential to regain optimal health.
Before we look at food, I want to explore the 50% unresolved emotional issues. To do that, we'll take another mention from Bloodworth:
Dealing with the emotional aspect is only half of what the human life needs. The physical and spiritual parts are also vital to whole and disease-free living.
Our spiritual contribution is half done when we recognize and accept that we need to master and dismiss emotional poisons (anger, fear, hatred, etc).
We need time for regular peace, quiet and meditation to replenish the spiritual self, to empty negativity and build intelligence.
The food aspect of health problems is simple. We eat too much bad quality food too often.
Many households that receive temporary food stamp assistance have an opportunity to purchase good quality foods to nourish their children and families.
Instead, their shopping carts are running over with processed, prepackaged and low-quality GMO junk that's laden with preservatives and additives that break down the body's ability to function.
Most kids are growing up on cookies, candies, chips and sodas. There's nothing healthy about eating this every day. We're digging our kids' graves.
Let's recap.
Okay. We're full of unresolved anger, hatred, jealousy and the like. Those emotions are festering and drawing negative conditions. Combine that will destructive foods and you have a literal physical powder keg waiting to blow.
It's true. In today's world of impatience created by fast food, smart phones, and computers, the microwave mentality causes us to want quick fixes. The human mind doesn't have to think anymore, and the body is being fed artificial food.
In short, we're a society of ailing people who stay in the doctor's office with complaints, walking away with prescription medicines that will not make us better.
Turning your health around is hard work and requires dedication and consistency.
The good news is cells have built-in healing mechanisms that work while you sleep. And they can continue to work undisturbed if we stop eating all day long.
We eat all day every day, destroying our health and shortening our lives.
As for this holiday season, it's okay to feast. This Thanksgiving and Christmas let's spend the extra money for organic foods, fruits, vegetables, butter, milk, etc.
Instead of buying pre-made breads and pastries, bake your own. The ones you buy are full of chemicals that have names you can't pronounce and side effects that make you miserable.
This year of feasting and celebration your body should be able to celebrate too!

Unless you are resilient against food binging, holidays will suck you into an eating frenzy, one that you might pay for with your health.
Disease consists 50% unresolved emotional issues, 25% bad eating habits and the other 25% is spiritual emptiness.
Sickness and disease are not from eating bad food alone. Many vegetarians will tell you that their health is not relegated to eating alone. Humans are three-dimensional: emotional, physical and spiritual. Each element must be nurtured.
First, let's look at the word disease (dis-ease or uneasiness). Venice Bloodworth wrote:
"The primary cause of every disease is mental or spiritual discord, and the only permanent basis for health and happiness is mental and spiritual harmony."I agree with this because while it doesn't contradict with the percentage theory, it is nonetheless true--a validation if you will.
"Every emotion and mental attitude creates after its kind. Intense anger with destructive intentions will attract physical injury to yourself, while fear, hate, anger, unkind criticism produce rheumatism, lumbago, headaches, stomach trouble, etc...anger causes high blood pressure with its kindred ills. Harsh, angry, destructive thoughts bring accident, burns, broken bones etc. Violence is caused by violent emotions and the fear of violence."
"Every phase of hate, anger, prejudice, criticism, jealousy, envy, greed, is the expression of fear in some form or other. Jealousy is the fear of losing a loved one, position, etc. and is caused by lack of self-confidence..."The emotional piece of the discussion is described here in the form of anger, jealousy, hate and fear. One or all of these emotions are at the core of sickness and disease. So, it's fair then to say we must always look within for the answer to our ills.
